Linux Mint change machine name

Here are the steps to update the Linux Mint computer name ...

Step 1: Edit file /etc/hostname

linux mint change machine name

Step 2: Edit file /etc/hosts

linux mint change machine name.jpg

Step 3: Restart the Machine
